Audition & Registration Information
Join us for The Nutcracker 2026! Auditions are open to dancers and community members of all experience levels.
Please complete the registration process before arriving at the audition.

Who Can Audition?
Auditions are open to everyone in our community. You do not need to be a current Sol Dance Academy student to participate.
Mandatory Dress Rehearsals:
Saturday, December 5th, 2026 & Sunday, December 8th, 2026
Performance Dates:
Saturday, December 12th, 2026 & Sunday, December 13th, 2026
Please make sure you are available for both dress rehearsals and performance dates before registering.
Rehearsal Schedule
Rehearsals will primarily take place on Saturdays and Sundays. The rehearsal schedule will be created around cast members’ availability whenever possible.
At the audition, you will be asked to provide any dates when you are unavailable.
Participation Fee
$180 Per Person
Payment is due at the time of registration.
Your participation fee includes:
- Rehearsal and class time for choreography
- Costume rental
- Costume cleaning and mending
- Additional individual practice time, if needed
How to Register
New Students
- Visit www.soldanceacademy.com
- Register as a student.
- Follow the registration prompts
- Find and register for the class trial titled THE NUTCRACKER 2026.
- Submit the $180 participation fee.
Current Sol Dance Academy Students
Log in to your existing student portal and register for: THE NUTCRACKER 2026
Once registration is complete, your name will appear on our audition list. There is no separate audition-day registration required.
What to Wear to the Audition
If you have dancewear, please:
- Leotard
- Tights
- Ballet shoes
If you do not have dancewear, comfortable exercise clothing and socks are perfectly fine.
What We'll Need From You
At the audition, you will be asked to provide:
- Any rehearsal dates when you are unavailable
- Your clothing/costume size
